Interaction of Masculinity Ideology and Body Talk on Psychological Symptoms and Body-Change Behavior Among Adolescent Boys

This research examined the interactive role of body talk and masculinity ideology on depression/anxiety/body change behavior among adolescent boys. After accounting for masculinity ideology, body talk predicted depression/anxiety/body change behavior. Results showed a significant interaction between body talk and masculinity ideology on depression and anxiety symptoms.
