Abstract
Participants read narratives framing addiction as a lifelong disease, recoverable, or anecdotal stories, and rated support for harm reduction approaches. Moral models of addiction and Just World belief negatively predicted support for harm reduction, mediated by stigma. Different narrative frames influenced the degree and direction of mediation.
