Biological Sex and Sexual Orientation Affect Sexual Consent

Although often presented as a simple, binary phenomenon, sexual consent is complex and variable. Part of sexual consent’s complexity is it depending on contextual factors. Using a novel, non-binary measure, this study tested whether people’s judgments of sexual consent depend on biological sex and sexual orientation.
