Abstract

We examined the relationships between paternalistic leadership (PL) and organizational outcomes and the role of organizational collectivism and organization type as moderators. Organization type moderated the relationships between PL, LMX, and OCBI, such that the relationships between PL and LMX and PL and OCBI are greater in local organizations.
