Relationship between Daily Stress, Social Support and Addictive Facebook Use

Current findings reveal that individuals who experience daily stress often tend to intensively use the social platform Facebook. Users who receive high levels of social support on Facebook are at enhanced risk to develop addictive use tendencies that reduce mental health. In contrast, offline social support may protect mental health.
