Abstract
In 102 community families, using behavioral data, we tested a model positing that parents’ mind-mindedness – capacity to treat their infant as individual with a mind – indirectly promotes children’s self-regulation at age 2, mediated through parents’ positive parenting at 15 months. We supported the model for fathers and children.
