Young adults (N = 108) who self-identified as Hard-of-Hearing (HH) were administered three scales: Satisfaction with Life, Self-Esteem, and Sense of Belonging. Linear regression results indicated that self-esteem explained 30% and sense of belonging explained an additional 8% of the variance in HH individuals’ satisfaction with life (p < .001).
