Information Spotlighting in Americans’ Decisions Surrounding Refugee Resettlement Policy

We asked participants to consider a refugee resettlement policy and tracked the items of information they were interested in seeing during consideration of their decision. Results suggest those who rejected the policy focused on security-related information, while those who supported resettlement viewed a more balanced set of information items.
