Abstract

In a rural and low-income sample in Guatemala, maternal perceived stress was significantly associated with infant language scores at 3 months after adjusting for covariates. Parental education and child stimulation activities were also significantly associated with all developmental domains (motor, cognitive, language, socioemotional, overall) at 3 months.
