Abstract
Sixty firefighters completed a survey that measured lifetime history of head injuries and psychological symptoms. There were significantly higher PTSD and depression scores in firefighters with line-of-duty head injuries. The theoretical contribution to the knowledge base regarding head injuries and psychopathology in an understudied profession is discussed.
