Abstract
This quasi-experimental study reported significant baseline associations between self-reported constructs associated with mindfulness, particularly positive and negative affect and somatic arousal, and neural change measured via fNIRS. In addition, the mindfulness group only experienced increased activity in the right PMC, right STG, and right OFC.
