Abstract
Subjects (n=906) completed measures of God attachment, self-control, and self-regulation. Anxious and avoidant God attachment were negatively correlated with both self-control and self-regulation. Subjects securely attached to God had higher levels of self-control and self-regulation than atheists, agnostics, and theists insecurely attached to God.
