Abstract
This project investigated the extent to which improved decision-making during psychotherapy increases a person’s ability to achieve clinical remission from depression. Patients completed the Adult Decision Making Competence measure before and after eight weeks of behavioral therapy. Applying more decision rules and ignoring sunken costs were linked with remitted depression.
