Chinese Version of the Multidimensional Existential Meaning Scale: Evidence of Psychometric Qualities and Predictive Power for Well-Being Outcomes

We adapted a Chinese version of the Multidimensional Existential Meaning Scale (C-MEMS). Using two Chinese student sub-samples (N = 354 and 553), the current research supports the psychometric qualities of the C-MEMS, and showed that the C-MEMS significantly predicts positive psychological outcomes such as positive affect and basic psychological needs.
