Abstract
This study examines the moderating role of rumination on the longitudinal association between social anxiety and depression in a community sample of adolescents. Results found that rumination exacerbates the association between social anxiety symptoms and subsequent depression, but rumination was unrelated to depression for adolescents with low social anxiety.
