Abstract

This study fills gaps in research by examining whether personality traits predict levels of severe weather phobia and PTSD. Results show that extraversion and emotional stability were the best predictors, with extraversion predicting more severe weather phobia and PTSD and emotional stability predicting less weather-related PTSD and phobia.
