Abstract
The current study adopted an experience sampling approach to examine how emotion malleability beliefs related to daily affect and emotion regulation among individuals with at least moderate depression (N=84). Results demonstrated that individuals who held more malleable emotion beliefs reported decreased negative affect and greater daily use of cognitive reappraisal.
