An Educational Intervention Increases Adolescents’ Awareness and Knowledge of Sickle Cell Anemia

This study explored the level of knowledge of Sickle Cell Anemia in high school students. Pre and post test scores revealed significant differences, with post-test scores significantly higher than pretest scores. In general, male participants scored lower than female participants, however post-test scores were very similar for all participants.
