Collaboration By Design: The Effects of Gender on Performance from a Psychosocial Perspective
- Kristin McCombs

Abstract
The present study randomly assigned 6th grade science students to male-male, male-female, or female-female pairs for a lunar science video game task. Results indicated male-male groups outperformed others and enjoyed the task more. Considering psychosocial factors that contributed to these differences is valuable for classroom planning for collaborative activities.
