Abstract

Psychological inflexibility is linked to various psychological disorders; however, limited research has examined the unique association between psychological inflexibility and PTSD. Among 200 Veterans, HLM analyses showed that psychological inflexibility was uniquely associated with PTSD after controlling for mindfulness, self-compassion, and depression. Results suggest targeting psychological inflexibility in PTSD treatment.
