Abstract
Alcohol consumption was measured in daily diary surveys among 906 undergraduate students during college and five years later. Although drinking quantity decreased after college, frequency increased. Decreases in quantity and frequency uniquely predicted perceived decreases in consumption. This suggests the importance of separately examining drinking quantity and frequency.
