Wearing the ‘Work’ Mask : Antecedents and Consequences of Emotional Work

Even though previous emotional labor considered two types of acting, this research expanded to five different types of emotional work – surface, deep, internalized, deviant, and robotic acting. This research contributes to expand the scope of emotional work type and investigates their relationships to different variables.
