Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) was described in 1984 and studied extensively in North America and Europe. Although SAD is widely known, in recent years published research has included misconceptions and inaccurate claims. The presenters have published extensively on its diagnosis, pathophysiology, course, and treatment and will provide an up-to-date overview.
