The Cognitive Behavioral model of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) will be extended by presenting new research that gives a fresh outlook on the development, maintenance and treatment of OCD. Specifically, the role of enhanced action tendencies and excessive habit formation in OCD, and novel behavioral interventions will be discussed.
