Abstract

We examined the impact of positive parent communication in relation to the effectiveness of coping strategies and levels of resilience among homeless youth in Montreal. Preliminary analyses of the data revealed positive correlations between the youths’ self-report of parent communication and both effective coping strategies and resilience.
