Student Research Award

The Student Research Award promotes and acknowledges outstanding research conducted by student members of APS.

RISE Research Award

The RISE Research Award acknowledges outstanding psychological science research related to under-represented populations or conducted by student members of APS from diverse backgrounds.

Psychological Science and Entrepreneurship Award

APS is pleased to announce a new award to recognize and encourage integrative research in the area of entrepreneurship, broadly conceived. Students and early career researchers are eligible to apply for this award.

NIDCR Building Bridges Award

The NIDCR Building Bridges Award is meant to forge connections between research in psychological science and dental, oral, and craniofacial health. All poster submitters are eligible to apply for this award.

Psi Chi – APS Albert Bandura Graduate Research Award

The Psi Chi – APS Albert Bandura Graduate Research Award honors Albert Bandura with a competition for the best research by a graduate student in empirical psychology.

SSCP Award

Are you a member of the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP)? If so, you are eligible to apply for the annual SSCP student poster session at the APS Annual Convention.


Each year, we look for friendly and enthusiastic people who are current APS Student Affiliates presenting their research at the APS Annual Convention.  Volunteers are selected from applicants to the Student Travel Assistance Program.
