The 2023 APS Annual Convention is the premier global event in psychological science and features invited and submitted content from all areas of the field.  Registration gives full access to the Convention, including plenary sessions, symposia, addresses, flash talks, posters, educational sessions, coffee breaks, and receptions, unless otherwise noted. Name badges and Convention materials will be issued on-site at the registration desk.

Registration Discounts

Early-Bird Discount 
Register before April 5, 2023 and save with early-bird rates. Regular registration rates are available April 6 – May 17, 2023. Registration rates increase after May 17, 2023.

APS Member Discount 
Current APS membership is required to be eligible for member rates. You can join or renew your membership while you register for the Convention. 

Reduced Rates for APS Members in Developing Countries 
Reduced Convention registration rates are available to all APS Members in countries defined as low and lower middle income by the World Bank. These rates are automatically applied during the Convention registration process. If you are not already an APS Member, reduced membership dues rates are available to scientists in countries defined as low and lower middle income. These are automatically applied during the membership join process. See the APS Membership page for more information.

Groups Attending Convention 
APS will offer discounted registration rates for groups of 10 or more people. Please contact convention@psychologicalscience.org for information on group discounts.

Pre-Conference Teaching Institute
The pre-conference Teaching Institute begins on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 and continues all day Thursday, May 25, 2023. It is open to Convention attendees only and requires an additional fee. The pre-conference Teaching Institute features talks from leading experts in the research and application of empirical approaches to teaching psychological science, as well as a poster session.

Guest Policy 
APS offers guest registration for non-psychological scientists who may wish to accompany you at the APS Annual Convention. Anyone presenting at the Convention is ineligible to register as a guest. All presenters must register and pay the full registration fees. If you’d like to have a guest accompany you at the Convention please add them as you register online and pay the $75 guest fee with your registration payment. 

Cancellations & Refund Requests 
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by April 17, 2023;no refunds will be issued after April 17, 2023. A refund of the Convention fee, minus a 30% cancellation processing fee, will be given for cancellations received by April 17, 2023. Substitutions are accepted prior to the Convention. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Submit all cancellation and substitution requests to the APS Meetings Department via email at convention@psychologicalscience.org. Access to the Convention is limited to the registered individual. Sharing your Convention credentials or Convention content is prohibited. Please allow 10-14 business days for refund processing.  

COVID-19 Refund Policy
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the Convention, you are asked to cancel your attendance and will be issued a refund for your registration fee minus a 30% cancellation processing fee. Please contact convention@psychologicalscience.org to request a refund.

APS is committed to science being conducted, discussed, presented, and published in ways that promote the lively and productive exchange of ideas. To demonstrate this commitment, APS expects all Convention attendees to conduct themselves professionally and, out of respect for others and for the spirit of our gathering, refrain from actions or speech that could reasonably be construed as harassing or personally disparaging.
