Student Travel Assistance
The APS Student Travel Assistance program defrays travel costs for APS Student Members who are presenting their research at the APS Annual Convention. Recipients are provided with complimentary Convention registration, as well as a stipend, typically $200. Travel Assistance recipients are required to volunteer for 1 six-hour shift onsite at the Convention. Volunteer duties typically include working at the registration desk, providing directions to attendees or completing room counts for various Convention events.
You must be an APS Student Member and have submitted a poster, flash talk, or symposium to the 2023 APS Annual Convention for review to apply for Student Travel Assistance.

Family Care Assistance
The Family Care Assistance Program defrays family care costs for APS Members and Student Members who are presenting their research at the APS Annual Convention. These costs can include childcare, elder care, etc. If selected, recipients will receive a $200 stipend.
You must be an APS Member or Student Member and have submitted a poster, flash talk, or symposium to the 2023 APS Annual Convention for review to apply for Family Care Assistance.
If selected, you must be registered and paid in full to receive the financial support.
