There will be no on-site registration in Chicago.
The 2022 APS Annual Convention is the premier global event in psychological science and features invited and submitted content from all areas of the field. Registration gives full access to the Convention, including plenary sessions, symposia, addresses, flash talks, posters, educational sessions, coffee breaks, and receptions, unless otherwise noted. Name badges and Convention materials will be issued on-site via contactless kiosks.
Registration Deadline: Extended to May 9, 2022
All attendees will be required to register by May 9, 2022 to ensure that we can validate COVID-19 vaccination status. There will be no on-site registration in Chicago.
Vaccination Requirement
APS will require that everyone who attends provide proof of full vaccination with one of the WHO approved vaccines in advance of the Convention.

APS Member Discount
Current APS membership is required to be eligible for the APS Member/Associate Member, Retired Member or Student Member rates. You can join or renew your membership while you register for the Convention and the Teaching Institute.
Reduced Rates for APS Members in Developing Countries
Reduced Convention registration rates are available to all APS members in countries defined as low and lower middle income by the World Bank, and are automatically applied during the Convention Registration process.
Reduced Rates for Federal Government Employees
Please contact convention@psychologicalscience.org for information on how take advantage of discounted rates for federal government employees. A Federal Government ID is required to qualify for reduced rates.
Groups Attending Convention
APS will offer discounted registration rates for groups of 10 or more people. Please contact convention@psychologicalscience.org for information on group discounts.

Vaccination Requirement
APS requires that everyone who attends the Convention provide proof of full vaccination with one of the World Health Organization-approved vaccines. Proof of vaccination must be uploaded to a designated third-party vendor by the extended deadline of May 9. Please follow the instructions on the Health and Safety page to verify your vaccination status.

Guest Policy
APS offers guest registration for non-psychological scientists who may wish to join you at the 2022 APS Annual Convention. All guests must register through our registration system, pay the $75 guest registration fee, and provide vaccine verification. APS will not accept any guest registrations on-site and no guests will be admitted without registering and verifying vaccination status by May 6, 2022.
Cancellations & Refund Requests
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by April 18, 2022; no refunds will be issued after April 18, 2022. A refund of the Convention fee, minus a 30% cancellation processing fee, will be given for cancellations received by April 18, 2022. Substitutions are accepted prior to the Convention up until the extended registration deadline of May 9, 2022. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Submit all cancellation and substitution requests to the APS Meetings Department via email at convention@psychologicalscience.org. Access to the Convention is limited to the registered individual. Sharing your Convention credentials or Convention content is prohibited. Please allow 10-14 business days for refund processing.
COVID-19 Refund Policy
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the Convention, you are asked to cancel your attendance and will be issued a refund for your registration fee minus a 30% cancellation processing fee. Please contact convention@psychologicalscience.org to request a refund.
