Webinar on “RDoC—Fear and Anxiety: From Mechanisms to Implementation”

The National Institute of Mental Health’s (NIMH) Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) unit, in conjunction with several other organizations, has released a new recording of a webinar discussing the mechanisms underlying fear and anxiety in disorders such as phobias and depression, and how the understanding of these mechanisms helps provide service to patients, in what NIMH calls the “science-to-service pipeline.”

Clinical scientists interested in RDoC and fear and anxiety research can watch the webinar below:

RDoC is a research framework that integrates many levels of information and measures to understand the dimensions underlying the full range of human behavior, from normal to abnormal. To read more about RDoC, researchers can check out APS’s coverage by clicking here, or see RDoC-related NIH funding opportunities by clicking here.

NIMH intends to produce future videos focused on other mental disorders.
