NIMH Will Hold Free Webinar on RDoC Principles May 10th

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is hosting a webinar on the principles of Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016, from 12:00–1:00 p.m EDT.

Three NIMH-funded researchers, Lisa McTeague, Aristotle Voineskos, and Meredith Wallace, will lead a conversation on how to analyze and integrate research data using the principles of RDoC. The RDoC initiative aims to reframe mental health research to emphasize treatment over just research alone. The initiative integrates many levels of information (from genomics to self-report) and cuts across traditional diagnostic categories to identify relationships among observable behavior, neurobiological measures, and patient self-report to better understand basic dimensions of mental health and functioning. The purpose of the webinar is to provide a variety of perspectives on how to conduct studies in line with the concepts of RDoC.
