Cosponsored by APS and the University of South Florida Department of Psychology, the 40th Annual National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology (NITOP) will be held January 3–6, 2018, at the TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel, in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Registration is limited to 375 participants; registration by November 15, 2017, is highly recommended. Proposals for the Teaching Slam and Demo presentations should be received by September 15, 2017, and proposals for posters and participant idea exchanges should be received by October 1, 2017, to guarantee space in the program. Later submissions will be considered if space remains available. The conference program includes morning workshops on the first day, three poster sessions, three participant idea exchanges, social hours, book and software displays, and approximately 30 featured speakers who are well-known for their excellence in teaching psychology.
