Interdisciplinary Position: Research Psychologist/Research Physiologist – Post Doc
Salary Range: $57,982.00 - $75,376.00 PA

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center, Healthy Body Weight Research unit in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a temporary full-time appointment. This is an Excepted Service Temporary appointment not to exceed 2 years (may be extended up to four years without further competition). The incumbent will integrate physiology and behavior to address motivation of children and adults to maintain a healthy lifestyle, focusing on motivational aspects of healthy eating and physical activity, and considering influences of stress on food choice, eating behaviors, exercise, and food- and exercise-reinforcement. A PhD is required in psychology or physiology or a field of study that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
