Jones Named IPAT President

APS Charter Member John “Jack” Jones has accepted the position of President at the Institute for Personality and Ability Testing, an assessment and interpretive report company known for revolutionizing questionnaire format.

“Jack brings extensive professional experience to IPAT, in both management and service delivery,” said Robert McHenry, controlling shareholder of Oxford, England’s OPP Ltd, the brand management and services company that owns IPAT. “This, along with his solid academic background, makes Jack ideally suited to lead IPAT in its new strategic direction.”

Jones, who specializes in organizational and industrial studies, has more than 20 years of managerial experience in the assessment services and psychometric products industry.

After receiving his doctorate in applied psychology at DePaul University, Jones went on to earn an MBA at the Keller graduate school of management. He was recently senior vice president of professional services and research and development at the Pearson Reid London House in Chicago. He previously worked as director of the human factors loss control program at the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, where he also served as chief industrial-organizational psychologist.
