Graduate Student Affiliate and Undergraduate Student Affiliate membership is open to anyone who is currently enrolled in a degree program in psychology (or a related field) at an accredited institution. Student affiliates receive the same benefits of membership as regular members, including:

APS publications are among the leading resources for information in the field of psychology. You will receive annual subscriptions to three APS journals free with your membership. Members may also view in-press, current, and archived journals articles online.

Award and Grant Opportunities
The APS Student Caucus offers several competitive awards to APS student affiliates, like the Student Research Competition, Travel Awards, and the Research on Socially and Economically Underrepresented Populations (RiSE-UP) Award. The Student Grant Program provides cash awards of $250 each, and undergraduate awards of $100 each, to be applied toward the purchase of research materials prior to data collection.
APS Student Caucus (APSSC)
The APSSC is a great way for students to become actively involved in the advancement of psychological as a science. This self-governed body presents student-oriented programming at the Annual Convention, sponsors student grants and awards, runs a Mentorship Program, and more. Informing Lawmakers and the Public
APS is the only national organization dedicated solely to the advancement of psychological science. With this in mind, APS works diligently to increase support for psychological research and to promote the use of science-based psychology in the development of public policy. APS also works to disseminate meaningful, science-based psychological information to the public. Content from APS journals is often featured in news publications like Scientific American, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
