Search for Staglin Family Chair in Psychology

The Department of Psychology at UCLA seeks nominations and applications for a full-time, tenured position at the level of Professor to fill the endowed Staglin Family Chair to study biological processes contributing to major mental disorders. The ideal candidate will have an innovative and productive clinical neuroscience research program, broadly defined, that employs, for example, neurodevelopmental, neuroimaging, epigenetic, or behavior-genetic approaches. The chair holder will have an appointment in the Department’s Clinical Psychology PhD program with the opportunity to affiliate with other areas of the Department and/or with other campus departments, such as the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. This individual will establish and direct the endowed Center for Psychiatric Brain Science. The candidate should have demonstrated visionary intellectual leadership, a strong funding record, and an interest in collaborations with the larger UCLA Neuroscience community. Teaching, which will be based on the expertise of the candidate, should contribute to the Department of Psychology including its Clinical Psychology PhD program.
