| The Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin AY 2014-15. The department offers Ph.D. programs in experimental psychology and communication sciences; an APA accredited Ph.D. program in clinical psychology; a CAA accredited master’s program in communication sciences; and undergraduate programs in psychology and communication sciences. Strong candidates in all areas of psychology and communication sciences are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated on their potential to establish a prominent, externally funded research program and to excel in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The required teaching load is two courses each semester. The following high need areas have been identified:
• Developmental, with a focus on child language disorders, cognitive, and neurological development
• Autism spectrum disorders, with a focus on early interventions and assessment, and social cognitive development
• Disorders of fluency and/or voice
• Cognitive and/or affective psychology
• Sensation and auditory perception
A Ph.D. in Psychology, Communications Sciences and Disorders (with CCC preferred), or a related field is required by the time of appointment.
