| Faculty Positions Psychology 2 FT
Begins July of 2014
The Psychology Department at Simpson University invites applications for two full-time faculty positions to begin July 2014. Field of expertise open (multicultural, social, cognitive, or biological psychology preferred). Duties include teaching Statistics/Research Methods and Introduction to Psychology. Additional courses taught will depend on the candidate’s area of expertise, interest and departmental need. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to be involved in student research and mentoring. Experience working with under-represented student populations is desired.
A doctorate in psychology is required (will consider ABD). Rank open, dependent on candidate’s qualifications. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2013 and will continue until the position is filled. Under-represented applicants encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective classroom teaching and an active research program. Candidates must also be able to articulate an understanding of multiculturalism and demonstrate a successful record of inclusive excellence in education. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a commitment to their Christian faith and be sympathetic with the goals and values of Simpson University.
