| The Psychology Department at Temple University is seeking to hire an Associate or Full Professor with tenure in Cognitive Psychology or Cognitive Neuroscience. The successful applicant will join the Brain and Cognitive Science (BCS) area of the Department, complementing the existing strengths of the area faculty in cognitive, social and behavioral neuroscience, cognitive control, memory, creativity, spatial cognition, and cognitive applications to education. It is hoped that this person will conduct research with humans using cognitive neuroscience as well as behavioral techniques, including but not limited to functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and will collaborate with faculty in other areas of the Department, particularly the Developmental area. Although the specific area of research is open, the person selected for this position will have a nationally recognized, extramurally funded research program and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates will have a Ph.D. in Psychology or an allied field such as Cognitive Science, Decision Sciences, or Neuroscience.
