|Assistant Professor of Psychology|

| Responsibilities: Teaching assignment is dependent on area of expertise, but would likely include introduction to psychology, cognitive neuroscience, sensation & perception, and developmental psychology. Outstanding candidates from any area of expertise that can contribute to the teaching assignments above will be considered. Candidates will also teach advanced courses in their area of expertise, including an advanced research course/lab that includes students conducting research. There are also opportunities to develop January travel or special interest courses and courses in the general education core. Teaching load is 12 hours per semester (three four credit-hour courses) plus an active program of research involving undergraduate collaborators.
Qualifications: Ph. D. preferred, ABD with evidence of imminent completion considered. The candidate must provide evidence of successful college teaching in introductory and advanced psychology courses within the liberal arts context. The ideal candidate is committed to teaching, advising, collaborative research with undergraduate students, and is broadly trained in psychology with interests in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive development, or social development. Completion of Ph. D. required for tenure-track appointment.
Salary: Dependent upon qualifications and experience.
