| The Division of Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry of the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons has a position for an enthusiastic, full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position offers a highly dynamic, collaborative, and intellectually stimulating academic environment and outstanding resources. We are especially interested in someone with the capacity to collaborate on projects that cut across cardiovascular/behavioral and perinatal/behavioral clinical research. Demonstrated success in securing externally-funded, investigator-initiated NIH research grants, a record of peer reviewed publications in leading journals, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
MD candidates must be board certified in Psychiatry or subspecialty. Qualified applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree in psychology or related discipline and evidence of recognized research achievement, with a minimum of 3+ peer reviewed published articles in national journals relevant to the field. The candidate must have demonstrated evidence for ability to work in a highly collaborative fashion.
