| The Psychology Department at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor/ Visiting Instructor of psychology for the Spring 2014 semester. Spring classes begin January 14 and end April 30, 2014. The last final examinations are scheduled for May 7, 2014. Candidates with previous experience in teaching introductory psychology courses will be preferred. Skills in using internet-based resources in teaching psychology such as Blackboard and Google Docs are required. Semester course load is three courses. Candidates must possess a master's degree or higher in psychology and should be capable of teaching introductory psychology. Preference will be given to applicants who have a Ph.D. in Psychology. The University of the South comprises a nationally-ranked College of Arts and Sciences dedicated to liberal-arts education and a graduate-level School of Theology known throughout the Anglican Communion.
