| The Psychology Department in the School of Mathematics and Sciences at The College of Saint Rose invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology starting with the 2014-2015 academic year. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester. Candidates must possess the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, such as Introduction to Psychology, Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood, Adulthood and Aging, Gerontology, Research Methods, a Senior Seminar capstone course and courses in her/his area of expertise.
As a member of The College of Saint Rose Faculty, candidates are expected to teach assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies, participate in academic advising and program assessment, engage in scholarship involving undergraduate students, and serve the College's communities through participation in Department, School and College-wide committees.
A Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or closely-related field (A.B.D. acceptable provided Ph.D. conferred as of August 1, 2014) or equivalent foreign educational degree is required.
