The Department of Psychology, in conjunction with the Center for Brain Science, seeks faculty applicants whose research is focused on neurobiological approaches to human brain function. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, perception, sensory and motor function, decision-making, biological bases of psychiatric disease, connectomics, and theoretical neuroscience. The successful appointee will be expected to strengthen links between the Department and the Center, where research focuses on the structure and function of neural circuits and their relationship to behavior. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2014. Candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in both research and teaching. Teaching opportunities will include offerings at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
An appointment may be made at either the tenured or tenure-track (assistant or associate) levels.
