ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION IN SOCIAL NEUROSCIENCE

The Psychology Department of California State University at San Bernardino is recruiting for an assistant professor position in either social neuroscience or social psychology with a specialization in social neuroscience. The position begins September, 2014. The successful candidate would be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both social psychology and biopsychology or behavioral neuroscience. Specific teaching responsibilities could include the psychology of social behavior, social experimental psychology, biological psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and human psychophysiology. Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in teaching, potential for success in pursuing extramural funding, and the ability to supervise, mentor, and involve undergraduate and graduate students in research. A Ph.D. is expected at the time of appointment. Review of applications will begin December 1, 2013 and continue until the positions are filled. Hiring for these positions is dependent on budgetary approval.
