| THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA IN HUNTSVILLE, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position, beginning August, 2014. We seek an applicant with a Ph.D. in applied experimental psychology, such as industrial/ organizational psychology or human factors. Teaching expectations include introductory psychology, undergraduate and graduate courses in research design and statistics, as well as courses in perception and the applicant’s area of specialization.
Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in psychology, evidence of excellence in teaching, ability to supervise undergraduate and graduate student research, and a willingness to develop ties with the community. The relatively small department (6 faculty) has an M.A. program in Experimental Psychology and can provide research facilities. UAH thrives in a culturally diverse community with high technological development and a reasonable cost of living.
