Tenure Track Faculty in Cognitive Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Kent State University seeks applicants for one tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2013, pending budgetary approval. A Ph.D. in psychology is required. Competitive candidates will have a program of research in cognitive psychology, with expertise relevant to understanding and enhancing learning and education. This position is part of a broader initiative to enhance research on the science of learning in the department, college, and university. Candidates for the position will be expected to develop a productive research program, seek extramural funding, and exhibit a commitment to teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Our faculty are highly productive researchers who have demonstrated success in attracting federal funding in support of their research programs.
