| TULANE UNIVERSITY, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY in the School of Science and Engineering, announces an opening for a PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE in BEHAVIORAL HEALTH starting in July 2014. The Professor of Practice is a three-year continually-renewable regular faculty position that is devoted to teaching and does not lead to tenure. Teaching load is three courses (or equivalent) per semester, and will include teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Minimum requirements for the position of Professor of Practice are a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with a specialty in clinical health psychology or pediatric psychology. Requisite courses include Health Psychology, Testing and Measurement; advanced graduate and/or undergraduate courses in substantive area are desirable. The Department currently comprises 21 full-time faculty and 44 PhD students, and offers the BS, MS, and PhD degrees (tulane.edu/sse/psyc). Tulane is ranked as one of the top 50 schools in the nation and has been cited for its excellent service learning programs (U.S. News and World Report, 2011).
