Applicants should have a doctoral degree in child clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and have completed an APA-approved internship. We are particularly interested in child psychology applicants who will collaborate with psychology faculty in established areas of research (e.g., child anxiety disorders). Formal postdoctoral training and experience are desirable. Applicants are expected to have a record of scholarly productivity. Responsibilities will include maintaining scholarly productivity, attracting extramural research funding (e.g., NIH), provision of clinical service, supervision of trainees, and limited teaching. Tenure-track faculty members at UMMC receive a state salary. Salary and the research incentive plan are competitive. Review of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
