1) Assistant Professor, Behavioural Neuroscience and Animal Behavioural Genetics, Tenure Track – Closing date: October 31, 2013
The Department of Psychology, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment in the area of Behavioural Neuroscience and Animal Behavioural Genetics. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will begin July 1, 2014.
Applicants are expected to have research and teaching interests in behavioural neuroscience and/or animal behavioural genetics. Special consideration will be given to candidates who complement current areas of strength in the department and use multi-disciplinary approaches. The successful candidate will be part of the Genes, Environment, Neurobiology, and Behaviour (GENAB) research cluster in the Department of Psychology at UTM.

2) Assistant Professor, Social/Abnormal Psychology, Tenure Track – Closing date: October 31, 2013
The Department of Psychology, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment in the area of Social/Abnormal Psychology. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will begin July 1, 2014.
Applicants are expected to have research and teaching interests in social and/or abnormal psychology. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have advanced statistical skills, and whose research has a clinical and/or applied focus. The successful candidate will be part of the Health, Adaptation, and Well-being Cluster (HAWC) in the Department of Psychology at UTM.

The successful candidates for the above positions will have received their Ph.D. by the start date of appointment. They will be able to demonstrate evidence of excellence in both teaching and research. The successful applicants will be expected to develop and maintain an active, externally funded program of research and to contribute to the education and training of undergraduate students as well as graduate students enrolled in the tri-campus University of Toronto Psychology Graduate Program.
3) Lecturer - Closing date: November 15, 2013.
The Department of Psychology, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a full-time teaching-stream appointment at the rank of Lecturer, effective July 1, 2014.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter, and possess a record of excellence in teaching and teaching-related scholarly activities. The successful candidate will teach large courses in at least two of the following areas: (1) brain and behaviour; (2) development; (3) perception, cognition, language; and (4) social, personality, abnormal.
Appointments at the rank of Lecturer may be renewed annually to a maximum of five years. In the fifth year of service, Lecturers shall be reviewed and a recommendation made with respect to promotion to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
